Family-Run Since 2009
Serving Western Massachusetts Since 2009
Anthony Ruggiero started Empire Movers & Storage in 2009 with one rented truck and a single bay on Servistar Industrial Way. He had spent his summers through school carrying furniture for other Westfield movers and figured he could run a straighter operation — fixed prices, employee crews, and a phone someone actually answers. Today Empire runs seven air-ride trucks out of a heated warehouse on the same street, and Anthony still quotes many of the moves himself.

How We Handle Problems
Every move can go sideways somewhere. When it does, Anthony reads the review and calls the customer himself, and we fix it rather than argue about it. That feedback loop is why most of our work now comes from repeat customers and their neighbors.
Long-Distance & Out-of-State Moves
About a third of our moves cross state lines. On a long-distance job our own crew loads and unloads and our own truck makes the trip — no handoff to a national van line, no shared trailer, no two-week delivery window. You get the same lead and the same fixed price whether you are moving to Holyoke or to North Carolina.
Talk to a real person about your move
Anthony or one of the crew walks you through your dates, a firm price, and storage options — no call center, no runaround.
